"Nothing Special"

GAMEPLAY 7/10
Pretty average here, nothing you'd go nuts over. It's pretty much real soccer, pass, pass, pass, shoot. Although, on the harder difficulties, you'll really need some strategy! Believe in passin backwards, trust me, that is what it takes to win. Pretty much to sum it up, the lower difficulties don't require much brain power (no offence to anyone) but all you need to do is pass, up, maybe throw in an analog stick twitch to throw the defence off then you're off to score an easy goal. But when you get to some of the harder levels, you'll need a knowledge of real soccer. What you need is patience, if you're not a big soccer fan, plan on buying a few more controllers. You need to pass backwards, lob it up, and clear with perfection if you want to stand a chance.

ROSTER MOVES 5/10
If you're buying the game now, you'll want to update the rosters, which is pretty hard to do. There's no easy way to trade, since the players aren't in any real order. Trading won't be a huge part of your game unless you're a huge simulation soccer fan.

GRAPHICS 6/10
With the camera so far away, there's no way to notice the graphics. If you do look close enough, you won't be amazed, but more likely, disappointed. The graphics are blocky, and obviously not the focus of this game. The stadiums are pretty good, even though you pretty much never get to see them. Keep in mind I said ''stadiums'' not fans, which look like dots.

FEATURES 8/10
It's got your basic features, such as season mode, franchise, world cup, practice, etc. I'd really wish the franchise mode was more in-depth. Things such as computer trades should be included in future FIFA games to make this a well rounded game.

REPLAY VALUE 7/10
If you like soccer, you'll be hooked on playing this through. With the long seasons you can play through, and world cup feature, this is a must buy game.

BUY OR RENT?
If you love soccer, you must buy this game, for obvious reasons. If you're just a light fan, you'll want to rent this before buying. Try playing this game with your friends, it'll really help this game out.

FINAL WORD
This is a solid soccer game that you'll love if you give it a chance. Play through a season with yourself and see what you think of it then. Try out some of the features, and see what you're missing. Try trading or changing your roster. Create yourself and put yourself on a team. Trust me, lots of things will spark your intrest again if you pay close attention!
