From Then to Now

In 1990, Elite was amongst the first European companies to enter into a agreement with Nintendo Co Ltd to develop and commercialise game software for the Japanese company's NES video game console.

In 1992, Elite negotiated an agreement with the Bermuda based Bank of NT Butterfield for a GBP2,000,000 revolving line of credit to finance the importing of video game cartridges from Japan.

In 1994, in conjunction with Rage Software Ltd (now Rage PLC), Elite sold it's 200,000th unit of the soccer game Striker for the SNES video game console; accounting for retail sales to a value in excess of GBP6,000,000.

Elite still exists to this day, producing games for mobile devices, such as Chuckie Egg, Bomb Jack, Ikari Warriors, Buggy Boy, and others! A website for the company can be found at: http://www.elite-systems.co.uk
