Thanks to its excellent hardware, the Amiga has never been short of good
platform games. Some would say this genre is already overcrowded but
there's always room for another decent game.

Tin Toy Adventure is, despite the name, a pure-bred platform game. The
trivial background story puts the player in the shoes of a tin toy who
must fight his way through various levels and defeat the evil clown and
his cronies. To aid this fight tin toy can collect various items which
will give him some special abilities.

What somewhat lifts Tin Toy Adventure above the average platform game is
the way everything fits into the game. The AGA graphics are colourful and
well animated, the music is jolly and the game controls are easy to learn
and precise. It has a similar charm to the James Pond games, and is highly
recommended especially to younger players.

There's nothing ground breakingly new in Tin Toy Adventure. Still, it
offers innocent fun and is amazingly playable. Therefore it comes warmly
recommended to those looking for a few hours of harmless action, either for
their own use or for their children.
