"Baseball At Its Best"

All-Star Baseball 2001 is baseball on 64 at its absolute best. If you own a Nintendo 64 and am a fan of baseball, then this is the game for you. You can have unlimited fun going through the lengthly season, getting to the World Series while dealing with injuries and trades along the way, or just enjoy controlling your own live player draft!

GAMEPLAY:Like I said, if you're a baseball fan, then you will have fun playing this game. All together, there is all 30 Major League franchises (plus 2 All-Star Teams and the Hall of Fame Cooperstown team), all 30 current Major League ballparks (including the 3 newest ones, Comerica Park, Enron Field, and Pac Bell Park, plus the Cornfield in Cooperstown), and just about every big league player to manage you to get to the very top!

STORY:Like any other game, manage your ball club to get to the very top and win it all!

AUDIO/VIDEO:The broadcasters and the graphics in this game are absolutely incredible. The broadcasters have hundreds of sayings which actually makes play-by-play enjoyable for once. The graphics, from batting stances to dimensions of a park, are fabulous.

REPLAYABILITY:For the fan, it does have replayability. Guiding your team to the Championship can take a lot of playing time, but it is fun to do so. The below average baseball fan or non-fan may get bored of this game rather quickly though, although there is a Home-Run Derby and a Batting Practice mode to keep them interested.

BUY OR RENT:It depends what kind of fan and gamer you are. I reccommend this title to ANY baseball fan who owns a Nintendo 64, and for sports gamers, you should give it a try.

This is easily a must-buy for the average baseball fan, because you won't simply find a better baseball game then this one.
