Derrick P Rowson (Wallasey) 19th Jan 2015 01:21This program was coded by Derrick P Rowson, the artwork was done by (D)ave Howcroft under my direction. The game was written to run on a 48k spectrum. This diagonal scroller was copied from an arcade machine. Which I had to keep on playing to find out what all the levels do. A curious fact was when I was coding the bikers in the chase sequence I noticed a flaw in the logic which made the game pretty easy to play in that sequence. When I then checked how the arcade machine played the same sequences, it was pretty much the same. This flaw was instrumental in allowing me to progress to the later levels on the arcade machine.
