This game is set in the American War of Independence where you must fight against the blue coat Amen-cans. There is a choice of five battles lo fight or you have an option to create your own. The game is very similar to Johnny Reb but is a bit simpler to play.
Each side controls four different types of unit which are used to try to defeat the enemy.
Redcoats isn't quite up to the standard of Johnny Reb but nevertheless it is an enjoyable game for a while even though it isn't too addictive. Once again this is another strategy game that is let down by poor graphics and terrible sound
