The arcade game converted to the Amiga and a decent version it is.
This game has you as a soldier who must shoot all enemy soldiers and
vehicles. This is done by moving the crosshair over the enemy and pressing
fire. The game is controlled by using the mouse. The left button fires your
ammo and the right button throws grenades. Try to shoot accurately because you
can run out of ammo and grenades. You can collects ammo and grenades by
shooting their icon when it appears on the screen. Sometimes there are animals
that run across the screen and when shot will give you some ammo. The game
scrolls from right to left and enemies will attack you from both sides. Clear
the level and you will go to the next level which is a little harder and is
slightly varied.
The graphics and sound are both average but the game plays well. The game
can only be controlled by the mouse and this method works well because you
need fast precise movements.
In conclusion, This is a decent conversion of the arcade game. The game
plays well enough but doesn't really have the lastabilty to make it a great
game. Once you finish the game you're unlikely to want to play it again.
Basically the game is just average all around.
